Well,
here we go again ... the start of another season of bullriding.
I'll be riding with Bullriding Australia again this year, and
you can access their 2004 Schedule here. This year I've
made a resolution that <whisper>I'll get this calendar
updated more regularly</whisper>. Had to whisper
that bit so the fates wouldn't hear and do their usual dastardly
things to stop me getting info on here ... anyway that's my
story ...
I have a great sponsor this year and you can check out the
details on my home page.
APRIL
2004
- and I'm behind already with updates! Haven't done much
so far this year, but have my first Bullriding
Australia
event scheduled for this coming weekend, 9th & 10th April,
at Boulia, Queensland. Boulia is a real
outback bush town with a very small population, but they sure do
host some excellent rodeos. Not sure yet whether I'll head
on back to the NT for a couple of weeks after Boulia, or go on
to Rockhampton in Queensland.
I
think there are a number of people who have emailed me during
the last few weeks and haven't had a response. This is
because a whole folder full of emails got accidentally deleted
from the system before we could get to them to reply. My
apologies to everyone for this ... it certainly wasn't
intentional. We tried to recover the folder but without
any luck.
I
keep resolving that I'm going to update this a lot more
regularly, but somehow it just doesn't happen the way I plan it!
I guess you all know about the best laid plans etc ....
Many thanks to everyone who
has been sending emails and leaving messages in my guest book.
I know I'm very often pretty slow at getting to them and often
have to rely on family to reply for me, but that's because I'm
either competing away at rodeos or working away on cattle
stations. I really appreciate the time and trouble you all
go to in sending so many messages of support. I'd like to
assure you that I do read every one and they do make a
difference to how I function in my bull riding career.
Happy
New Year to all of you, and many thanks for all the support
you've shown in 2004
